Leaves you curious after every story on what might have happened next.
When fourteen writers from all over the country come togther in tandem and set out to write a story each, and when those stories are put together, the result is a composite novel. So fourteen stories interlock and tell a compelling tale of myriad emotions - romance, suspense, love and drama. Each story contains the writing style of its author, but what is amazing is the way all of them come together to create one distinct story with varied elements. 'Crossed and Knotted' is a unique venture and the effort put it together is laudable. Here's wishing Readomania, Sutapa Basu and the writers all the very best, and may this book soar and reach unbelievable pinnacles.
Crossed and Knotted The very title is intriguing, and the stories that follow are even more so! 'Crossed and Knotted' is a venture in which fourteen writers set themsekves a task - to write a composite novel. The result is a novel that is made up of stories by different writers, each one complete in itself, yet creating a whole story that keeps the readers on the edge of their seats. Kudos to Readomania, editor Sutapa Basu, and each of the fourteen writers who made this book possible! Here is a book that has the distinction of being India's first composite novel, which is no mean task!
Crossed and Knotted is a must read for all bookworms out there. A completely new genre in India, which is a complete treat to read. The Diary of Joseph Varughese by Ayan Pal was my favorite among the list of chapters. A great book undoubtedly.
